Sonic the Hedgehog. Is a video game developed by Sonic Team, an internal SEGA study in 2006 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 computer entertainment systems. It was first in the Sonic series for the seventh generation consoles, and also the first to show a new main character: Silver the Hedgehog. This game is part of the range of products SEGA has launched on its mascot on the occasion of its fifteenth anniversary. Other games launched during that year for this event were Sonic Riders (for PS2, Xbox, GameCube and PC), Sonic Genesis (for Game Boy Advance) and Sonic Rivals (for PSP). In this game three protagonists are presented: Sonic the Hedgehog, Shadow the Hedgehog and Silver the Hedgehog each with their own story line. The game divides the phases in two: those of the city and those of action, the player must dominate both to be able to overcome the game. Other characters can also be controlled, but only on certain occasions. The game has a multiplayer mode for a maximum of two participants. The Sims 3 was a commercial success, selling 1.4 million copies in its first week. Critics issued mostly positive reviews, with an 86/100 score from aggregator Metacritic. The game has sold over ten million copies worldwide since its 2009 release, making it one of the best-selling PC games of all time. The last of eleven expansion packs, Into the Future, was released in October 2013. A sequel, The Sims 4, was released in September 2014 for PC and in November 2017 for consoles.
